I have an honours degree from Newcastle University in Media, Communications and Cultural Studies. I tailored my degree focus to Public Relations, giving me the most up-to-date skills and knowledge.
I built a strong presence for a racing team, setting up and running multiple social media accounts across platforms and building a website. I also liaised with relevant stakeholders to gain the team a podcast appearance and a video-interview collaboration. This gained the team traction that allowed them to garner sponsors and more team members.
I was brought on to bring a fresh perspective to an already existing team and established business. I helped to facilitate and execute successful collaborations with relevant stakeholders that increased the reach and reputation of the business. Since my arrival the social media channels grew in popularity and engagement, with Instagram engagement increasing by over 90% .
